Professional design consultant Shay Johnson is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International. Her expertise as an image and wardrobe consultant developed over a 20 year career as a T.V. commercial producer, interior design consultant and wardrobe and properties consultant. Shay has had the opportunity to create many "new versions" of herself – from college student, to professional, to mother, to single mother, to business owner – and each shift has required a reassessment of goals, desires and image. From her own personal experience, Shay understands time constraints, interpersonal demands, outside pressure, the need for connection and most importantly the need to express who you are.
As an image consultant Shay found it frustrating trying to find stylish, yet age appropriate, pieces for women beyond their 20's. And, when she did find the right items, she couldn't find the right sizes. So, Sashay's evolved as a platform for Shay to continue her consulting and offer stylish alternatives to the mall stores at reasonable prices.
Because Shay stays abreast of fashion trends and works with women of all ages, she understands how what's "current" may or may not fit into your lifestyle. After all, you have your own style! Her passion is to help you create your own personal feeling (and look) of comfort, ease, fashion and success, however you define it.
